Ok, is it just me, or does Grinch not exactly tell you how to run an actual server. Sure, there's the files, but what else is missing. There is also no way that he explains to get the Master Maker. I'm one of those ambitious people that don't shut up. I don't think I'm the only one that wants to run a server, but I might be the only one willing to be banned to get answers. So where do you get the master maker? The Rouge Client? How do you run a server? I want to know. I really do. If someone could shed a little light on this, I'd be very grateful. Over and out.

Ljer is right. Basically, if you don't have friends and/or people willing to tell you, most likely, NOT on these forums, you basically don't deserve to run one.

So why has there to be a "close circle" of elitist assholeuses who think they are better than those people who cant get the files themselves, instead of helping them and maybe doing a simple copy-paste to propagate evolution in rpgwo coding and maybe, in someones life.

Because 'coding' is defined by having the source code, none of us have that. Plus, we happen to agree with Mick(us 'elitist assholeuses') that there shouldn't be a big amount of people running rogue servers, especially in this day of age of RPGWO when there are no more then 25 people on a server anyway.

whats funny is axeman is right, and even if you do get all the stuff your server will suck you have no idea how to code .ini's aswell as you prolly dont know how to forward your router ports to allow people to take the update files from your computer aswell as even access the server, theres alot more to do then just running a program you cant be just some random joe that dont know wolf and think you can run this wolf.

Oh and P.S. (its illegal)

us Elitist Asshouleous or w/e the tiger we're called dont feel that there should be a million retarded servers running.

Do most of us have the server files? No doubt. Will we give them to you? tiger no.

Besides, there's only a hand full of people that mick hasn't personally trained that know how to code the inis well enough to make the server run smoothly without tons of errors.

Think of it as a fear of losing any superiority they have. Thats pretty much all they got, since some "nub"" wanted to shut them the tiger up and nuked their home.

Dont forget that the latest update of the 1.15 server.exe on the market is 3.83 MB (well thats what i have) and we are to lazy to:

a) Transfer it to whoever
b) explain to whoever how to do it
c) answer questions to whoever

and if you do manage to get the server files and cant figure stuff out by reading the files on the forums or useing ur head, I think I speak for everyone here when I say....DONT BOTHER ASKING

No actually, what if i really manage to make a server way better, for instance, than Arc (The Empty World), will you people talking "elite" shut up?

Was just wondering if I should bother...

EDIT: Besides, the .ini files aint difficult at all. In my opinion, even most retards can code them. I am having only hard time with waterside and underside .ini-s, cause theyre full of unexplainable numbers. Other than that, is just learning from other server .inis.
