I can't believe the game is still alive. I used to play back in 2002.... I am impressed you are still here Jon. Anyone else from the old admins around? like Rummager, The Undertaker (UT), etc?

I tried to keep it going.  I own the forums/hosting/servers here and the community has kept the game alive! There is active discord channel as well.

It was a fun game, i quit because after every major update Mickey did a world reset and it was annoying starting from scratch. so i gave up sometime.

Yeah, I understand. I have to see what old worlds I might have copies of. I might bring them up again. Players are now reaching level 200.
There is one v2 Server up and one v3 Server online right now.

Peek RPGWO was around 80 to 100
Right now it depends on the time none to around 10 or so.

I am always on atleast daily for a good bit on hexreborn which is the v2 hex server

When Hex V2 started, it had 20 players...

I came in almost 2 years later, and it had 6-8 active players. It died off officially in February.

The test server V3 was fairly active too until the drama started. She had some good scripts running for botting.

I remember the last time I played RPGWO seriously was circa 2005. I'd like to make a return, but only if the playerbase got to at least 5.. (I know it's probably asking too much at this point).

well u missed the encideus surge....
they are about to take it down after 2 months but it had up until a week or so ago average of 10 to 25 on all the time
they are gunna rework some bugs and it should be back around dec or jan

December for sure. Will run like a ladder. 4-6month runs with slight changes to balance, with new quest ect added inbetween. Still seems to be 5-8 at odd times going at it.

i posted in the discord if anyone would be willing to play rebirth and told them to come on forums to say if they would play

currently there isnt an active server.... encideus is being rebuilt wont be back til xmas time or so
hex v2 no one gets on except to keep lands
hex v3 he took server down but u can still log in and he dont know where it is running at but u cant move but a few steps a day

so an active server would always be nice
