Was hoping just to use old datafiles. But looks like might need to start from scratch.

Would appreciate a fresh server, not previously restored characters if that's a thing. Cannot connection.

Some skill names seem to be required like Melee Defense etc (hardcoded?), or check item ini for skills that no longer exist

Yeah I did I compared the v2 from rpgwo.com still have to look into stuff.

Looks like I have to reupdate some content files.

You're missing a waterside/underside ini at world generation time I think, or a broken one. Or images have moved, who knows.

I usually see that kind of thing (and black borders at edges of water, or no water) with the empty waterside or nonexistent file - unsure if this is the case

Updated AutoUpdater for RPGWO works versions 1 to 3 you can set where the updates go with updater.ini
