Fixed it now. I complain and complain to my ISP about the hacks but they do nothing. They probably are the ones behind it.

Went back and forth with my ISP. They kept saying it my job to "secure" the website. I asked them to define "secure" and they couldn't. Kept getting boiler plate copy/paste answers. They wanted me to buy their "secure" service for a monthly fee.
Ugh... I decided to write something my self. It checks once per hour, for extra files or changes that don't match a local copy. Then deletes or updates files as needed. Works pretty good, um kay.
Now I can move on with my life peddling my 'wares.

You don't' really have any scripts like wordpress so the site shouldn't get infected out of nowhere. so i would think it would be on their end.

Why are you writing anything yourself? Just pay $5/year somewhere better and less wolfty, it's just plain files.

You're on EIG, that explains a lot. It is 100% their fault, they run scripting and web and everything as basically the same www user, any other site getting hacked will more or less result in your home directory being writable.

They are well known on the internet for being awful garbage, and most of their customers are the result of fraudulent affiliate spam "top 10 hosting reviews"

Any recommendations? Or just pick 1 from any top 10 list, say like from PC Mag?

The top 10 lists are the problem, they are almost all the same company and listed via affiliate schemes. EIG owns most of those and pays out the most per customer acquisition on wolfty, overloaded, insecure servers. If you look at the pcmag 'best provider' list, the only one that isn't horrendous wolf is Dreamhost (they are decent, but somewhat slow speed-wise), and the rest are almost all owned by one company.

I've used Webfaction for 5+ years and would be happy to recommend them, but if $10 is more than you want to spend, take a look at BS

Well for web hosting I can always just use Jon's server. Redirect all the IPs and turn IIS on.
Those 2 didn't seem to offer domain name registration which is my main concern right now. Wanna lock the new name down I have.

The general industry standard is to always keep your domains at a dedicated domain place (like Gandi or dynadot) and host elsewhere, bad idea to keep all your eggs in one basket.

I like Dynadot for domains. Cheap too.
