itemdef2.dat version conflict error message

Hey folks,

I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to try playing RPGWO v3 again on my Windows 10 PC. After running Auto Updater and connecting to the Dredge V3 server, I received the following error: itemdef2.dat version conflict

I found a way to fix this and wanted to share it with the community. Maybe some folks will start playing V3 again :)

If you encounter this error, go to http://www.rpgwo.com/ and download RPGWO Client V3 - V3.Client.files.zip 

Then go to your RPGWO installation folder (usually c:\Program Files x86\RPG World Online\

Open the Dredge.files folder and extract all the contents from V3.Client.files.zip  into that folder. Make sure to overwrite itemdef2.dat when prompted.

That should fix the issue. Hope to see you guys on the server ;)

pretty sure no one still plays dredge.  eden is same files, newer server, and Mickey sort of screwed a few things up with usages on V3...so unless someone were to write new files for a V3 world you're probably going to be lonely on a V3 server.

Thanks, good to know. So for old school rpgwo I should stick with the Hex_Reborn V2 server then? I couldn't connect last night but looks like I can connect to it this morning.
