Issues with windows 8 possibly?

Heya peeps,

Just wondering if anyone else is playing on windows 8 at all? its just my missus is able to join and play fine on her acc on my pc, but using her laptop she is unable to attack monsters at all. even tried doing a fresh install 3 times now and remade her character with different combat skills thinking possibly they was bugging. But i have been unable to find out the cause of the issue yet.

there has been a weird glitch for years where attacks don't quite work...if you run toward your target but won't hit, you're having this glitch.  it can usually be fixed by restarting your computer, if you haven't done that, try it and see if it helps...

Sometimes it doesn't work though. I've restarted my laptop, no fix. Shut down for the night, no fix. Fresh Install, Deleted and made a new char, no fix yet.

A player in-game called ice suggested setting the client3 to run as compatibility windows 7 mode. doing this and rebooting the laptop helped us. Leaving this comment for future users in case it helps them too.
