Direction of Purgatory...
« on: September 21, 2015, 12:10:00 am »
As a reminder this server was just thrown together.
I pretty much want to work on a server from scratch and have purgatory up till more choices are available.
So I while I am busy with this.
Should we get another Admin? If so, who? explain if yourself.

Or, I can just run it from shadows and throw stuff on slowly on to the server.

Maybe go ahead and just put the new server up an let people play on it and embrace the changes as they happen?

I say this because nobody likes putting time and effort into a server that they know will end, it feels like wasted time to them(though all games end eventually). I feel like they'd much rather play on a server that will keep their effort and time and have it updated than they would put time and effort on a temporary server.

if your new server is going to be anything like purgatory(defenses as free skills, high selling items spawning near start point, too many npc stores, multiple chars per account, molds) then I'd say don't waste your time.  if you're making a new server that is actually worth playing, then put it up and close purgatory and keep the "alpha" status on the server so people know it is going to change.
why does Fox keep cancelling good shows?
