Well, if you attack a tree or any object, you are destroying it. A tree becomes pulp.

Trees should also be scripted to only take so much damage at a time, maybe per weapon type, so that, while a good solid axe swing would take them down, you can't just chop them in one stroke of the sword.

I was thinking attacking a tree(depending on what weapon you're using) would be more like chopping it down.  an axe would work best because of its wedge shape, a sword would work also(think of a machete), but almost any weapon you can use to actually damage a tree could be used to chop it down.

if you actually think about swinging an axe at a tree(to chop it down) you're basicly attacking/killing it.  I could understand a stone wall becoming rubble, or a tree being cracked in half, but turning a tree into pulp or a wall into dust takes alot more work...

By the way, I finally got to fixing my Silverlight and loading up the first client.. and I have to say, I like it. I'm excited.

Just a thought, might be good if instead of deleting everyone's character, the status just got wiped out.. that way people can still keep their name.
