Hello again friends, on August 28, 2015 a new 3D version of Haven & Hearth was released.

The game is no longer fully free and has adopted somewhat of a subscription method (approx. $10 monthly depending on your exchange rate, the developers are in Sweden). New accounts are given 48 hours of free time which they can use to test out the game, this game time only ticks down while you are actually in-game. After which, accounts that aren't subscribed or have purchased any time via tokens are considered "free accounts" and receive 7 hours of play time which is refilled weekly every Monday. This time is refilled to 7 hours regardless of whether or not you use it, you cannot acpigulate. You can pay a one time $15 fee to receive access to the old version of Haven & Hearth as well as 14 hours of weekly play time rather than 7.

In any case, more information on that can be found here.

Some screenshots:

If you are interested in looking at some other screenshots of the game you can find a bunch of them here.

Some of the updates including the most recent since they released that someone might enjoy:

If you really enjoyed the previous version of Haven & Hearth I would really recommend trying out this new one. Use the free 48 hours and determine if you think it is worth paying for. Similar to legacy Haven, this new version of the game has its fair share of performance and optimization issues. If you have a decent computer you should be fine but this is just a warning to others that already have trouble running a lot of games which is probably why you play RPGWO anyways.

Hope to see you around the forum  ;)

So don't play it, I don't care. I got a few people in to the game when I first posted about it and hopefully that happens again but if not, whatever. I think the graphics have been improved quite significantly, you really do need to actually play the game to see it in full effect.

Also now they are receiving enough income that they have been keeping updates coming twice a week, once a week for some of the bigger ones but it's a very nice pace.

Here are some nice images that were edited by a few different players, they taken using a different camera position so that what you would normally see would be the big black nothing that is the skybox but they have edited their own skies in the background instead.

They look quite interesting.

I didn't have any issues with the old graphics, new ones just seem sort of like someone smoked too much weed and decided to try to make funny images...and everyone knows smoking too much weed before doing something leads to bad things.

also that first screenshot in your last post, the way the guy is holding the saw makes it look like he is peeing on the fire ;D

Its basically p2p unless you aren't going to play very much. Tried the old HnH a while ago and didn't like it very much. You more or less have to run around discovering things / make different items to level up from what I remember instead of grinding on mobs for X hours or doing quests, dungeons, etc like a traditional MMORPG game. Wasn't really enjoyable for me and these graphics look even worse IMO. I would of preferred the old crap graphics and more fluid gameplay, movement, combat.

I guess HNH just reminds me of V6 right now, where I look at my character crawling along instead of "just moving" like in v2. It drives me crazy how freaking slow you move just let me move fast ok everyone hates moving slow so lets go fast, gotta go fast fast fast, you're too slow v6 why do I gotta go slow and be tormented make me a Bone Gorvor and move fast OK it so freaking boring to crawl along and I wanna quit in the first 5 minutes so increase the run speed to 2x-4x ty.
Asylum - lvl 33 Thrower
Pyramid - lvl 40 Scythe
Dementia - lvl 69 Spear
Nexus V2 - lvl 61 Stealth
Rebirth - lvl 72 Bow
Ganymede - lvl 56 Mage
Hex - lvl 1000 Admin
Future - lvl 1000 Admin
Retired - Unless V6 pulls a miracle

I haven't played, ever, but I like the graphics, now a days it isn't all about realistic but stylization, I guess, like Don't Starve?

Hmm, you sure you aren't suffering from "Admin Regress"? I got sooo used to moving around fast as an admin that I hated being a player, going slow, waiting for Run to hit 200 and speed to be maxed. I added a few more scrolling options that may help. But a newb really shouldn't be able to run that fast... newb.

as a player who always has 10 quickness and is often ob at the beginning of a server, I think I move faster in V1/V2 with double burden at 10 quickness than I ever have in V6...and yes that movement speed(its the animation I think) gets annoying.

@Roar in HnH you can change your movement speed, if you pick anything up or walk into a swamp you go at crawl speed, which is really slow.  walk speed is fine on most terrains, run can be done on some terrains with low stamina costs, and sprint can be used on flat surfaces(paved, mud flats, grasslands).  if you use the default client it always stays on last speed used, which means if you pick something up(which happens a lot) you'll move at that speed after you put it down unless you change your speed manually.  custom clients had options to set a default movement speed and that speed will be used any time possible.

not this though, there isn't even any form of traditional "leveling up"

bro both rpgwo and Haven and Hearth are essentially niche games, they aren't suited for everyone but this thing about speed is just ridiculous, learn2play n00b.
