Where The Game Went Wrong
« on: April 07, 2010, 08:14:40 pm »
Version 0.78  (12/12/02)
· fixed bugs with locksmith keyer on ground and chests
· standing close to fire will warm you up, the longer you stand next to a fire the more warmth "fuel" you get thus you stay warmer longer after you leave the fire
· I am working on a final list of features I want for my game to make it version 1.0, I have finished going through my lists and will now review the appeals. This is only covering features, NOT content. Content like more weapons and such can always be added at anytime
· UT has been promoted to @@@ and is now the official Content Manager. He has the ability to make monsters, items, etc for the game. I have given him free reign over the world to do what he wants… sorry. I will still be involved with content but just not as much. Just time for someone else to lead things content wise.

You have to be really cautious with UT. You can't annoy him the slightest. and if you don't you'll get along with him :)

And part 2 of where the game went wrong:

Server Changes

January 2010
By: Mickey
I am closing my server and moving the website to UT's machine. Things have been pretty slow and I am busy on other projects so the $110 a month is no longer worth it.
One of those projects is a new client for RPGWO using Silverlight, targeting social networks. We'll see what happens.
If you are having trouble with the updater then get the new updater.zip from the download section.
Thanks for playing!

Nah that's the future of games on social networks. Downloadable games are dead now unless they are backed by large companies and large development teams

Makes sense, but that's completely false.

Evidence? I can think of dozens of corporate-backed MMORPGs, none independently based any more.

The game went wrong after Rha went batwolf insane on ST and I haven't seen a good server since.

That facebook crap is horrible as well, I can't believe you guys would even take credit for making that.

I remember that crazy bish.  Her and that other crazy woman that pretty much destroyed ST community.  Man those were the days.
