I thought about this while I was reading it... and I can't come up with anything good... cause I work at the hospital... and me drinking and needles usually don't mix.  Only think I thought of is:

IVs might be easier to start if the patient was drunk

I might be less stressed out

All those Dr. orders wouldn't need to be filed stat...


And many many disasters would shortly ensue...
