I think RPGWO should have 1 server. It can rotate between modern/medieval and maybe in between wipes we could have a dungeon or mission server. This way everyone is centered, and the vets will be with the noobies, hopefully getting rid of the weak and breeding some more dedicated players. Rather than people logging in, having no clue what to do playing a game in complete silence, and then quitting.

Anyone like it?

Some people dislike modern servers and some dislike the fantasy/medieval servers so one server would mean that people wouldnt play for a year untill the wipe/ change over.

so good idea, but i dont think it would work.

Which is why I had rotation. And if they don't like it, it's for some silly reason. I know this may be a conflict, because some people think noobs need it easier. That's wrong, have you EVER played any korean mmo? They throw you in and all you do is kill monsters for experience, and they have millions of players. I think rpgwo is too easy for noobs, so it bores them.

Why not just go with Kaios idea of 3 servers, Normal, PK and Modern....

You know people still playing on others servers though. They will be disappointed if you delete a world. Believe or not, Pyramid aint all that dead anymore. Sure still has like no one on at non-peak times but lots of people still play on other worlds so you cant just delete a world.

I think sadly the game is coming to the end. Mickey is done with it, only person that is remotely doing anything for RIGHT NOW, is UT..

Skull/Horizon - Mickey (Hes done with the game so don't see those going too far..)

Dementia/Arcanium - UT (I'm cool with UT, but some of you aren't so sometimes that a turn off.. Plus his trigger happy ban button of not so much doom which has already hit some of you on Arc)

Pyramid - Jon (Hes not gonna wipe it.. he is more then likely gonna see v2.. So at this point hes got Gotenks running it, which I know him we're cool but just not a.. good idea)

So though process would be, to move to Dem/Arc which is fine, for a while. We are absolutely screwed if UT ever steps away. I at this point might work on some Inis but they wont be in use until the absolute need. If Rpgwo finally dies out, I'll just release for public use and go on my way. Considering I've thought of at least one other decent idea for a server and yet again gonna keep it mostly to myself.

Sigh, I've been sitting here for a few days soaking up what i've missed. I think you guys need to move on to a new game. RPGWO is dead and mickey doesn't give a tiger. I think if he gave Zodiak a chance with the source and a few months of work was put into the game then maybe just maybe things would work out.

I've noticed through my years of being here that mickey doesn't listen to the players when it comes to RPGWO. He is only worried about what he thinks is best which at this point in time suck.

RPGWO is dead, get over it.

Kaios idea is good, but meh. I dunno, I really just want a new server cause I know it attracts people and it's always more fun with more people. So I started thinking of ways to group and KEEP people. Because with 3 servers, when one wipes the other 2 completely die. It's sad, really.

Oh I agree with your idea, there really is no point in spreading 5 people through out three servers. But I mean the game is dated and really needs some TLC lmao. wolf i'd be more then happy along with many others that post here to follow Zodiak and help out if he ever got his hands on the source.

Who needs source, Asche did a great job working with what he had. You don't need the source, you need good design.

Look, I have some source with dynamic map sizes..its not much but i'm willing to contribute it..it needs just about everything else but i mean its all a basic setup with really smooth dynamic maps. If you guys helped out i'd redo some gfx and we could get something going. But yea ^^

Man, Open source things are amazing. Its how you utilize it. I have the source all worked the tiger up with the bonus of dynamic maps.

OK hi.

I still think there just needs to be three frequently updated servers to keep or gain some players.

It was already pointed out why this idea won't work so I won't go into it.

And as for Core I do think the first Core was a decent server until Asche handed it over to Repth. It just went downhill from there.

Best solution is to have 2 servers. 1 Fantasy based, the other Modern. Then just add the MPK/NON-MPK quests to each server.
