What do you guys think of this game?

Too Hard?

Wondering wtf the slide bar is?

Basically my view on it is its a great improvement on GH3 apart from the fact that I have only Failed one song on hard so far and have only been in the red twice, i think they have made it too easy but alot more fun.

Played demo version at local EB games.

What the wolf on slide bar, found no use in 4-5 songs of play. None on the demo(I think it was) werent very difficult.

Setlist is OK, some songs Id really like to play, i.e, Trapped Under Ice - Metallica.

IMO, RB2 is better. Alot more songs, consistently good (quite challenging when you get to "Impossible"), can transfer RB1 songs if you own it (adds 60 odd except Run to the Hills, Enter Sandman and Paranoid) and has better  dls too (Great albums by Megadeth, Judas Priest, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Who, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and theres a couple others) along with many good packs or single songs.
You want a drumming challenge? Play anything by All That Remains or Disturbed for a guaranteed tired out foot lol.

I haven't played either RB2 or GH World Tour. I gotta decide which one I want.

I've heard GH3 world tour is better, we just got Rock Band for the 360 and thats a good games from what I've seen.

I just cant play anything more then medium, because I end up messing the song up every time the last fret comes up.

GH is waaaay harder than rock band, I actually prefer Rock Band. But, GH > RB when it comes to songs, RB has wolf for songs. Seriously, it's like 90% 90's punk pop.

If you've seen the RB dl's youll know what Im saying, LARGE  variety from S.O.A.D to Metallica to Rush to The Who to The Police and other randoms.

Im not trying to turn this into a RB vs GH war but IMO RB had better songs and just to prove point theres the list for some evidential backing but yeah everyone likes different wolf so.

To Muffin's comment of GH is harder, how about you try Constant Motion on guitar, drums or bass. Its ridiculous. I admit RB1 had mainly easy songs but the DL content and RB2 stepped it up, solos are retarded.


Oh yeah and perhaps the hardest song for guitar... Snow by Red Hot Chili Peppers

The songs are fun but they aren't hard.

Mercy and Joe Perry's Guitar Battle are practically impossible to get even a 4-star. Forearms start slowing your fingers down about halfway through.

Ok, i just got back from my mates after playing 6 hours of guitar hero world tour on Drums for abit, then switched to guitar, last 30 mins of being round his i decided to get his mic out and have a go with that, DAMN its fun! and a hell off a laugh trying to get the high pitched words on Beat it by Michael Jackson with a cold and a sore throat,

All in all....i want a bloody mic for my Guitar hero now but ebay has them for like £30

I heard somewhere any standard USB mic worked but I really dont think so.

Mic is pretty fun though theres only a few I can sing, mostly because I've heard them so much.

My 5 year old nephew plays drums and guitar and he sang "In Bloom" once while my buddy is there, we cant play the song anymore cause we die laughing at how funny it was
