Well, I've just hit the 'Buy it Now' button on Ebay, so i will have this on Xbox within the week.

What are your thoughts on this game? Did I mistake in buying it? Does anybody else have it?

No, I heard it was full of retarded kids from youtube vid's I have seen.  I suggest Just Cause though.  Good game, it's all single player but it has a mild GTA theme.  Awesome graphics and you will need to throw away your sense of reality.  It's fun though.  Also, try not to let the power supply overheat, it will freeze the Xbox if you do. :/

Put it on a platform to help.  Lastly, do not stand it upright, I heard it scratches discs.

Actually, I've only ever had a problem with my 360 once. That was when I picked it up to sweep under it while it was on and it scratched a ring around the 360. I've never had heat problems, with the xbox itself. The power brick gets a little bit warm occasionally.

I have COD3 and the multiplayer is decent, but its near impossible to find a match. It was really a toss up between this and Bad Company. Bad Company sounds alright, but Ive heard this is better. Not to mention apparently the way to get health in bad company is to constantly jab yourself with a needle.

COD4 is amazing. I cant say a whole lot cause you play on the 360 and I've only played the PS3 and PC versions but I have seen the 360 one and its amazing. Matches the only tough thing about em on COD4 is when your in a wolf timezone and everyone else is sleeping, usually hard to find good team games but weekends are amazing too get in. Like 30 seconds max for 99% of free for all's or team games to join. Its definitley worth it. Ground War is a tigering awesome game style, 8on8 team battle, its intense. I recommend doing some of those when you get the hang of it and get a mic too if you dont already have one.

BTW, how much did you pay for it

If it looks anything like this, I'm happy to say I've most likely made the right decision.

Now, to get to the shops and buy an Xbox 360 hard drive.

Woops, It's "Modern Warfare" not Modern Combat (that's BF2)

You don't need one of those 80GB ones, you wont be saving much to it unless you are gonna buy wolf from them online.

COD4 is one of the greatest games ever. The Guile Suit mission is the tigering wolf. But it is very unrealistic, and that makes it more fun. The only thing you want to be careful of in grenades. No matter where you go, grenades will find you. Great game.

The PC graphics are stunning, i'm guessing they'll be similar on the Xbox.  I've only played the game demo on the PC and it's great, i'm gonna buy this game ASAP

ITs alright, but the online is the easiest, as more or less a couple of bullets and they are dead, so yeah its really easy online, but yeah pretty fun game.

Same really. Played first 3 missions of Halo 1, played 2 of em in Halo 2. Found multiplayer way more fun

Call Of Duty 4 single player is amazing, but It's constantly the same wolf in my opinion. The Multiplayer is pretty dayumn sexy. But I have to say the Battlefield Bad Company multiplayer looks x10 better. I've been playing the Demo because I'm too cheap to buy the full version, the multiplayer is amazing.

I finished the Single Player last night. It was awesome, could have been better though.

Multiplayer has some nice gamemodes, it's getting better as I unlock more.

Great Game. Once you get good its monotenous tho. I would have bought BF:BC. I have em both. The maps on Battlefield are better, but the replayability on COD is better like x100. BF is better to remove boredum tho. You can't really go wrong with either. Controls on BF are a little wierd.
