Has anyone played it yet? It looks so good but I don't have either a 360 or a PS3.

I've seen it. Some realistic features are you can :
Get drunk and drive, the screen goes hazy and you go all over the place.
For stealing parked cars, you break the window, unlock the door then hotwire the car before you can drive it.
If you hit ANY object going really fast, i.e lightpole youll go flying through the windshield taking a bunch of damage.

I was told it has severe overheating problems on both systems, and tends to lock up quite a bit. Someone said that it was required to buy an external fan if you plan on playing it for more than an hour or two on a ps3, lawls.

I can't afford it at the moment, but I've played it over my neighbours house a bit. It looks good from what I've played.

I'd wait until a later release or something when they fix the overheating and lockup problem hopefully

I've played it for the past three or four days for hours and hours on end without any problems. Although after about 6 hours of it running, it started having minor lag spikes. When that happened, I felt the xbox and it was getting a little bit warm so I turned it off, went to sleep. Today it was as good as new, no freezes.

GTA IV does seem to put the Xbox through it's paces, not sure if that's JUST this game or whether other games do it also, I've never really played any other game for any long periods of time.

If anyone wants to play on XBL hit me up.

Yeah. Get it for 360 for sure. If the Xbox has overheating problems and freezes, the PS3 will be even worse indefinetly.

I heard that there were some freezing problems.

Didn't they release the new 360 elites with new hardware that was supposed to fix most of the red ring issues?

Just watched the head to head on youtube. They seem the same basically, the 360 comes out in the lead with the Multiplayer IMO.

Personally I havent played GTA alot since Vice city. Played San Andreas for a day then the disc went screwy. Looks good though, broke into a few cars for a laugh there at my buddies while he was wolfting. Pretty intense realism I gotta say now.

Bump.

I only just bought it recently.

Graphics I give it a 10/10

Gameplay I give it a 10/10

Multiplayer kind of lacks. It's pretty good, but not the best 6/10.

It's probably one of the most graphically car games I've ever played. Forza 2 was pretty decent but this tops it off by miles. Mines never overheated and I haven't turned my xbox off for like 36 hours straight.

The map is tigering huge. I'm doing alot of freeroam at the moment so I can get use to the map. Unlike San Andreas with the different weather on it totally changes what the places look like. Like you could drive around in a huge circle with the weather being Sunny then changing to maybe Mist or something and it'd look like a whole different place.

Makes it pretty difficult overall I give it a 9/10.

I'll agree. The only problem with the GTA's these days are the multiplayer. Still only average.
