Terms & Conditions Update

Hello all,

I have updated the Terms & Conditions. I have removed the list of rules and replaced it primarily with legal notices. Just because there are no rules doesn't mean you can go crazy. If you are doing something I don't like, I will tell you and you will stop.

Welcome to RPGWOForums.com. The following Terms & Conditions are in effect across the entire site and are not restricted. These may change at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. It is the user's responsibility to stay up to date on the Terms & Conditions; ignorance will not be considered to be an excuse.

I, Grinch, the owner of RPGWOForums.com have a vested interest in the well-being of the site and members. It is for that reason that I will protect the site and members where ever legally possible.

RPGWOForums.com will not release any personal information of members, unless permission is granted by the member, as required by law, or to comply with legal proceedings properly served on RPGWOForums.

RPGWOForums will comply with civil subpoenas. RPGWOForums will charge the person or entity submitting the civil subpoena for costs associated with subpoena compliance. Payment must be made within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the RPGWOForums invoice. Checks should be made out to RPGWOForums.

RPGWOForums' subpoena compliance costs are as follows:

• Research - $75.00/hour
• Federal Express - Cost as Billed
• Copies - $.25/page

RPGWOForums is an electronic communications service provider. As such, communications on the forums (posts, private messages and emails sent from the website) are governed by the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, 18 U.S.C. §2701 et seq. RPGWOForums will not disclose any electronically stored communications. As per the ECPA, it is illegal to utilize the communications stored on RPGWOForums' servers as a means for legal action without a subpoena, warrant or court order. As such, RPGWOForums restricts the viewing of stored messages to members only. No user may utilize the communications contents of RPGWOForums for use in legal proceedings without first serving RPGWOForums with a subpoena, warrant or court order. RPGWOForums WILL protect the privacy rights of all registered users.

Submitted communications become the property of RPGWOForums. RPGWOForums reserves the right to edit, reprint, distribute, or delete any posting for any reason and without prior notification or explanation to the author.

RPGWOForums will not be held responsible for the content of communications. RPGWOForums reserves the right to control the content of communications and the behavior and actions of users for any reason. RPGWOForums reserves the right to make necessary decisions and actions for beneficial or preventative measures. All actions issued on the behalf of RPGWOForums must be complied with by registered users.

RPGWOForums and its representatives will not be held liable for the result of the usage of any information provided by RPGWOForums, and disclaim all liability resulting in the use of the posted information.
