Yea, I like muffs mouse-over elevation thing, Isometric is really bad imo. The graphics of RPGWO are not really graphics just pictured that move around and stuff. If you want isometric you need to make it so the pictures move and when they do you see their back. This would be very annoying and everything. Iso would be really annoying just to look at also. I am used to the nice clear flatness of rpgwo, not some 3d wolf that will hurt my eyes after a while. No Iso imo.

LIES! The selected window was Delta, Also infront of the screen, Also what you took a screenshot of.
If you can't dazzle them with brilliance,
then baffle them with bullwolf.

(06:22 PM)  +Wings - excuse me i'm off to do my nails and my hair and buy a new dress

The Muffin Man: "Everyone hates the forum n00b. It's the unwritten law."
Revolution: "There's Wings, Toadking, Chrismon... =.="
Rokhan: "Revo just stop trying to defend your wolftyness by bringing up other people. You have crossed the wolf line for annoyance kid.
Wings is an alright guy now TBH, he just has some random posts sometimes but aight in general.
Toadking has become a decent forum troll when he is here, he came to the dark side!
Chrismon left basically which is nothing but a +. But his annoyance was nothing to yours."

Rokhan: "I voted ban. I like flaming Toadking only, its much easier. I have to think for this Chrismon guy, I bet he's a incompletely digivoled digimon!"

Mack the Blacksmith: "Hey, I ill be the super villain and make hordes of wolflings!"
King Dravien: "Your not super anything, tiger off."

Leave the graphics alone. The amount of time and energy it would take to redo everything isn't worth it. The classicism of RPGWO is the 2D pixel-shaded sprites. ISO would fuxx it up.

Now if you got some talent in 3D modeling... thats different. I've muxxed around in maya a lot and I know the capabilities are astounding. But then you have to remember what this is. It isn't worth it unless you can get the system so clean that it won't lag like a beach if an avatar is on three peoples screens at once.

My Vote: Leave it alone.

I like the ISO personally, I move with my right mouse button anyway, so it'd be no problem for me to get around.

I think it could be an interesting idea, although the 2D graphics are nice. I'd take a bit of planning, since you'd need to add a few things. The only probelm I see is entering a building/underground.

Here's an idea:
On server selection screen, when user selects a server with version 2 interface, he is prompted wether to use original 2D or the new isometrics environment. I'm sure it's not that complicated for you to code, Mickey. Then include some automatic statistics script, which reports the use of 2D or isometrics. After, say 1 month, you gather the results and see which has been used more often and then go with people's choice.
