Well, this might sound like other games, but I think it would be a great feature to RPGWO and make it more attractive for new players.

There should be a 'Quests' tab, and NPCs around town who give Quests for certain levels, like... Bring me 20 Roach Antennae, or something.  If you accept this quest, it should appear in the Quests tab, with the details, and the amount of items you have... like 15/20 or so.

Same should apply for monster quests, 'Hunt 200 Crystal Drakes' for example.
But then you have tradesman who couldn't participate in things like this, but it would be easy to have people who are requesting statues, logs, and whatnot.
E.g a fighter guy in town who needs a Great Axe made, or an archeologist who needs bricks.

Tell me what you think about this,
Thanks

Maybe so, but look how many people play runescape.

Of course the old dungeon/building quests should still be around, they were pretty fun

might be just me, but i enjoy just walking into a random quest and  attempting it and usualy dying in it and not having toworry about what ive got in myquest log and what i need to do to empty it. gives me too much pressure to do all the quests

Yeah, but I like the pressure.  I get bored easy and stop playing if I don't have something to look foward to.  If I have many quests that need done, I'll train and attempt the quests over and over again until they're done.  This is what keeps me playing.  And for the quests, you should get suffecient rewards according to the type of quest you do.

Hunting quest = Small amount of gold, good XP, and mabye a small little something to use as a collective or something.

Trader quest = Medium amount of gold and moderate XP.

Monster Drop quest = Moderate amount of gold and a special item.

Thats why you dont make major quests.. make off quests that you don't have to do.. but if you want the extra xp or money or "prize" then do it.. this could go handy with group runs if he does "Elite monsters"   I like the idea

Well, put in some thought, would you rather Major quests, thats where most the xp is gotten, or even it out so you can do either, or what..

Ability to turn quest log off!

And ability to post quests for other people to do (like posts)

And some nice grafix for completed quests and quests in progress.

Also, need a log of convo's, EG: Conversation log tab that displays text that an NPC has said to you.

Mabey some dancing kittens also...

So, pretty much a "Quest book" That would keep ahold of everything that has to do with that one quest.. any chat or comments on the quest.. so you have all the info you need so you dont miss anything.. and "graphics" which is the least of the worries but i can see where you want that..

Well... I'll go make a 16x16 grafix for it real quick... tell me whatcha think.

And yeah, basicly a quest book.

And real complex quests requiring you to use the notes in it.

Okay, I guess?

But the "Quest not taken" thing is wrong.  Well... it could go 2 ways...

1.  Have that image thingy, but Mick would have to put ALL of the quests in the quest log for every char.

2.  Not have it, but the quest will appear after you find the NPC for it.

I don't like challenges.  They make me mad and frustrating... which cause me to quit if something is too difficult >.>

As an addition, somewhat.

All quests are listed alphebetically(spelling?), order from easiest to hardest or recommended level or something. Quest you have undertaken are highlited in a certain color(Say red), and are brought to top of list while being accepted until finished for easier access. Quests that you have then completed will then turn yellow in their respective spot on the list letting you know you have done it atleast once.
DarkTemplar, Level 28 Sword -Liberty
Rokhan, Level 30 Mace - 1st Steeltide
DemonHunter, Level 32 Mage - 2nd Phobos
Rokhan II, Level 20 Thrower - 2nd Steeltide
Furion, Level 30 Mage - Xerxes
Rokhan, Level 33 Mace - Ataxia
Marksman Rokhan, Level 35 Xbow - Ataxia
Script Rokhan, Level 22 Bow - Chaos
Rokhan, Level 42 Thrower - Kirin
Rhasta, Level 24 - Horizon

Yep, more of a sorting system of how hard.. also sort if a (Group) Is needed for it, maybe "hardness" could be done by the quest name in a certain color set.. Red being Hard or something..

This game is pretty good to do whatever you want, whenever you want and for this reason I don't believe there should be any quest logs for this game.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is
