should introduce auto events such as LMSs etc. like the system of the seiges. type /eventjoin to join the events, the after you are the LMS then you auto warped to the prize token etc.

Zaros - Alysum - lvl 42 Black Mage

There were auto LMSes on Nul, but that's like... all there was before Darky Poo became admin.  But yeah, if the auto events started at a specific time each day, and the person had to go to a particular place to get the token, that would be cool.

CTF = after 1 team has all of the enemy's flags, everyone on the losing team is warped to town.  Everyone on the winning team is warped to the token room where each person gets 1 token.

LMS = Warped in the LMS arena 3 minutes after the LMS is started.  Winner is warped itno a token room for the token.  Losers get warped to town.

Team LMS = Same thing as LMS, except the group that wins gets the tokens, other group gets warped to town.

EQ LMS = Same thing as LMS.

Team EQ LMS = Same thing with Team LMS.


(Let me know if there are any flaws in there or if I missed an event.)

Those can be done right now on 1.15, but yeah.. Just the thing is, they arent worth having set to run if theres only 3 people on, but yeah it would be cool, that all depend on his scripting part, which ive seen and it is very messy, but it is possible as is..

Gotta take into account how much training a LMS can take away.... like 250k exp in 30 minutes man...

Its not the fact it takes away training time, Events keep players from being bored so i understand the need for events, its just that its not hte highest thing on the list compared to other stuff.. all this take its typing up a script then making sure everything works correctily..

Mickeys scripting that ive seen seemed rather confusing, i tryed to type my own up but could not get it to would correctly, just used ones that were already pretyped.. so as far as getting typed up fast.. not going to happen

Imagine if rpgwo had like 100 people on one server at any given time with upwards of 500-1000 people actively playing there.

I like the small playerbase. It would kind of ruin the game if there were 100 people on all the time....Resources would get used up ALOT faster (Mining and plants) and the mpas would have to be bigger to accomodate more plots etc. It would just be too annoying.

Eh, the game i dont think is stable enough to hold that many players anyways   If i recall with ST there was what sometimes 50 on and it was lagging pretty hard sometimes.. 100 would kill and anything above that.. you would need a 50x50 world.. which a 20x20 kinda kills the server.exe as is.. so in this aspect the bigger number doesnt mean better..

Well, he could of strengthend it up then.. but the game wasnt exactly designed for large # of players.. i mean he has hopes for big # of players..but nothing too major i would think..it would be lovely to get a nice 100 players but it could suck depending on what hes doing to the game.. resources would die alot faster and the economy more likely to die more quickly lol
