Ok, with a few different groups talking about new servers/worlds, I thought it would be a good idea to get the average players thoughts on the perfect server/world. just c/p this and fill it in, then tell a little about it:

Size: I would like another 10X10, atleast 8X8, other wise its just too...piled together

You cant pick people to do adminly jobs based off popular vote, although the other way isnt working so well either.

heres why taht would fail

Player A wants to become @@@.

Player A buys perks for 100 some odd player Bs with fraudulent paypal money

Player Bs join Player As guild

Player A would get popular vote and get @@@

...

And you act as if the admin/server operator wouldn't notice?  Mickey didn't 'notice' because he was receiving the money or whatever it is.  It isn't hard for Mick to stop that, and perhaps it wouldn't work.  But as you said, there is no way you can say the current admin-randomized-picking-way isn't any better.
