Jon is the worst Admin. I bet he could get about $1000 bucks from Phobos easily if he just broke every active players character just like mine and made everyone pay $5 to get it back.. thats cheaper than the $35 he wants from me...

yeah remember when you guys had me infiltrate and join roses guild just to break into her "unpenertrable Fortress" and we stole her wolf and made it so we could warp in LOL.  I let you guys donw into the basement and put 1 gold coin down in every tile on the floor LOL.  And thats how I got into PYR8 LOL

Holy crap i remember that, she made me join that guild before i knew better and she was like "oh and i put some gold on the ground to show my wealth and power, don't pick it up or i'll ban you" lol xD i ended up joining Loki's guild instead.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised I didn't come up... My little Rebellion after I left wasn't that bad, nothing a good "revert to the 1 hr old backup" couldn't fix... meh...

I should try to get a server... I have a computer just sitting here, nice T3 access, ready to go... hmm

I would have to install windows, maybe it'd run on cedega though....

it might... if the server doesn't need activex that's one less thing you need to get on there... I got the vb files installed and then it was complaining about activex so I said tiger it

Pirated servers generally fail, all you are gonna get are a bunch of whiny noobs wanting to play it and when they log in they start screaming for free stuff. Your just gonna get sick of it and give up, or your gonna be a corrupt admin and let everyone get lvl 60 in a day.


The above paragraph is 100% true, but I'm sure Daegan can put a lot more towards it. Seriously, don't waste your time... only thing private servers are good for is testing out quests and such without lagging up the official server trying to fix everything..

Oh and a lot of posers play them, I've had people think that I play on all these private servers when it was just some noob that used my name.

I remember the fun contests me and Jordan had on our rogue servers..leveling competitions because he thought he was better (pssh..I so won) and such.

Leo as the worst admin is probably true.  There were a few other ones (Koth and Obscure come to MY mind..atleast I hate them anyway), silly Jon (I see you read the topic today, maybe you'll read this) had to make them admin on Deimos.
