Music File Organization

How do you organize your music files?

I usually organize mine this way:

E:\Dopigents\Music\[Artist]\[Year] - [Album]\[Track#] - [Song].*

and if it's any other way, it drives me crazy.

so what if it works? so tigering what? it has to be PROPERLY ORGANIZED. ------.  there's a time and place for chaos. file organization is no place for chaos.

Cracker (Seeing as i was told not to refer to other white people as a "------") (Cracker sounds completely lame) Why the hell do you want to organize a god damn My Music Folder. Thats Queer. My music goes from limewire straight to my music and bam. its done. its alphabetically in order. i dont download songs in albums i download them seperately.

Well mine is My Dopigents > Music Then I'll sort it out on itunes. BTW Damens computer is tigering annoying it takes you like an hour to look for something because it's full.

you do realise that a HD shouldn't be more than 75% capacity if you want your computer to work

------ please i got 2 HDD's ones got like 14gb left the other has like 25gb left so eat me. nowhere near full.

and i can navigate through my music easily. using windows media player's search. or going into the folder and clicking the letter i want.

I simply use Media Player 11, organised like so.. Artist - Album - Songs

Mine has a 100gb primary, 400 gb slave, and ima add a 200gb hd when i get home.. btw all pretty much empty too..

on a side note, i have

My Music\<album> if i have a full album for that band, or just My Music\Misc which has pretty much everything else, I use the search feature Limewire has to get around in there.

how about tags, do all you fishrs have to have your tags and wolf perfect?
