First off if you run these and don't what you're doing, don't bitch.  Read the readme's, and have some skillz.  If you can't read, or don't know what the tiger you're doing, don't touch them.  Also, read the damn files before executing them, so you can see they won't tiger your system.

These are right out of the Readmes:

If you run the included file "SHOW ITEMS.reg"
it will give you two options when you right
click a folder or the Recycle Bin --->

  "Save Desktop Icon Layout"

              &

 "Restore Desktop Icon Layout"

This is handy in case you change your monitor
resolution and by changing your resolution,
Windows moves your icons into the top left
 corner of your screen.

To save your icon layout do this --->

 1 - Run the file SHOW ITEMS.reg

2 - Right click the Recycle Bin and
     choose "Save Desktop Icon Layout"

 3 - Click OK.

 ---------------------------------------------

The best thing to do is save the layout and
do whatever it is you're going to do like
altering your screen resolution, then when
Microsoft Windows throws your icons all into
one corner, just right click the Recycle Bin
and restore the icons, then after that you
can just remove the context menu items with
the REMOVE.reg file. Doing this will not lose
your layout, all REMOVE.reg does is removes
the item on your context menu, it does not
remove the saved icon layout, so just use the
RESTORE.reg if you want access to your saved
 icon layout again.

NOTE: Sometimes choosing "Restore Desktop Icon Layout"
does not fully restore all icons in one go, if this
happens, keep running "Restore Desktop Icon Layout"
a few times and it will eventually restore them all
back the way they were when you saved them.

Never see another advertisement on the internet!

 To install, run "Enable Ad-Blocker.bat"

 To uninstall, run "Disable Ad-Blocker.bat"

Installing this will replace the HOSTS file in
 "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc" with a new file
with thousands of advertisement servers. When this
Hardcore Ad Blocker is installed, you cannot possibly
connect to an advertisement, regardless of what browser
you use, you just won't see any advertisements anymore.

If you experience a slow down when surfing the internet,
then disable this Ad-Blocker again. It all depends which
sites you're looking at. It could potentially speed up
browsing, because no advertisements are loading.

You have to close and re-open your browser to see the
changes to take effect, refreshing the web page alone
 will not do the trick.

Hardcore Ad-Blocker HOSTS file by "Sjaakie" and "Raz0r"

Enable + Disable commands by "eXPerience"

I thought they were pretty tigering neat....

one uses .reg files

the other just changes the host file so that anytime an Ad or popup would show up, instead of loading the ad, it loads nothing, because it's being pointed at 127.0.0.1 (which is YOU)

Don't explain IPs to me, n00b

Yeah the second one sounds neat, I just don't trust batch files or anything that wants me to do something to my reg.
I don't even have a popup blocker and I don't get popups... why? I dunno. But it's pure awesomesauce.

The first one just sounds stupid to me, but I don't change resolution and I keep everything in the top left corner anyways. But I guesh their good for noobehs, iono.

I have my icons more organized then just thrown in the left corner like some cromag,

learn how to read a damn batch file and you can see exactly what it does, alls this does is replace your host file with one that lists 1000's of adservers and popup wolf to go to 127.0.0.1, and then there's the turn off batch file, which replaces the host file with one that just contains the localhost
oooooh scary batch file

do you get paid to be that much of a ------?

I don't get many popups, but I still get way too many free tigering ipod ads which piss me off so bady especially the goddamn talking ones. I'm sure you don't ever get ads on websites... I mean, do little kids websites even get ads or popups?
