gizza try setting your screen resolution to 1024 x 768. Seems to be where it works the best

2 - Is it something like plots of land available inside of the city with access to roads and stuff? Instead of a plot city and then everyone claims one sector away?

What happens after infected ? Do they just die ?

Ummm.... you suffer from the effects for a time, if you don't get a cure or an injection to counter the effect. Like lowered skills, less sight, passing out, stumbling, slower regen or non at all, etc. Eventually, life would start to drain until death. Then standard death routine applies: you loose some items, spawn at "life stone", reduced moral/vitae.

Nothing fun , afterlife ? Instead it`s just normal death :(

Can other player cure or inject you  or any form off social interacion , specific skills ?
OK, I think I get your forage skill idea.
"Forage in broken glass display to find jewelry" - the better the skill the better the find.
"Forage in old pile of clothes to find leather clothe"
"Forage in pile of trash to find plastic bottle"
"Forage in medicine cabinet to find 'Mary-J'"

These "forage" targets would spawn around the map. Some random like garbage pile and some at set locations like broken display.

I like the idea. Fits well with a ruined world.
What about chance for bad event ? Like raccoon jump out of pile of trash and bites you , causing damage , or cut yourself in glass display and get blood-borne disease ?

Is it comparable damage which type of weapon ? Assuming you have same mace as requirement for hessite, would more damage done ?

How to grind Mapping / Cartography ?

Grind as in raise it? Um, you use it... a lot? Maybe do a lot of copies? Raise attributes?
I mean  ,  it`s going to be just making tons of map and stuff ? Will ther ebe more experience if map is more detailed ? What happen on failure , does map disappear or can you make eraser by tapping tree for rubber ?

or am i thinking too far ahead..

Salem does the arrow thing albeit badly ( hidden by the UI , at bottommost z index )

It isn`t that bad but maybe annoying if you don`t even know how far away , maybe arrow line is longer or shoter depent on Distance ?

I'm a big fan of exploration. I'd like to see a game that encouraged players to take their time when traveling across the world. Go to the bottom of a valley, look for tracks, update a map, avoid a nearby roaming pack of goblins.
I come from other mmo named wurm, there is no minimap there -- at all, and no automatic pathing :)

Players need to actually draw their own map , outside of game , it creates interesting mechanic .

Something possible is maybe have "rare" mobs , miniboss mob, that can be found via tracks or looking at ground
