Hmm, I am confused why Jord is rushing to Zerky's defense?

No ban is ever perm... Zerky has the right to appeal it either on forums or in game or my email. He isn't IP banned, just account banned.

The safe thing to do when presented evidence from players and checking logs was to ban the account.

As far as what people want from Horizon... it isn't done yet and is a work in progress. But I understand that some fundamentals ARE set in stone like start skill points and such. But this is still just RPGWO with some new features. I think the main issue is players don't like the low combat XP. They seem to be too used to normal XP from classic version. But I tuned it up somewhat so I think we found a nice medium.

The item is a Damon Meteorite NOT a Damon Ore.
A meteorite turns into a Damon Golem that you have to kill then they drop the Damon Ore.
When you are close it changes.

A bug exists where if the item turns into the golem, it doesn't turn back into the meteorite if the player runs away or the server is restarted thus the golem gets removed and the damon is lost. I need to fix it so it goes back to the ore instead of getting removed. Not biggy yet since no one even close to 500 skill.

I just need to put the ore back that gets lost once I fix it.

I did an update yesterday that kills off plants if they are stacked so that issue should go away.

What I posted was just for the Flame spell. All 7 damage types will have these 3 catagories of spells.
The range of 1 doesn't mean melee. It is more like a flame thrower close range versus a bullet at far range.
A flame thrower willdo massive damage, a bullet a lot less.

The dart gets 12 range, normal is 6, the blast is 1.

The whole point is to give mages options. A risk versus reward thing. The closer I get, the more damage I can do but the
more risk to me getting pounded.

2 new types of black magic spells: Blast and Dart.

 - Blast is range 1 and high damage, like twice that of the normal
 - Dart is range 12(double) and low damage, half of normal

Gonna add it just for Flame for now to test it out before I add it for all the rest damage types.

I think I capped skill bonus to 40, not sure. Would have to look at world.ini but am be lazy now.

I plan to open it at 11:00am PST on October 1st, tomorrow.

Newb Area is done, with quests, practice area, town, etc.
I could pretty much open up now but lock everyone in, heh, but am gonna wait.

Main land is OK to open. It has all the basic stuff:
 - main town with NPC traders and player trader area
 - warp room (By a 1 in a 1000 chance I somehow broke one of them!! You'll see when you get there, heh)
 - wilderness spawns
 - 1 main land quest - sewers
 - some roads
 - some islands

Main land is always a work-in-progress but it has the basics setup.
I still wanna get more roads and islands put in.
Also, working on revamping wilderness monsters. Pretty much upping their skillz that killz and filling in gaps.
