I like the idea of a Stargate system. Would this be a modern type world? Or would it be a normal type?
Maybe bring back race alliances with inter-planetary travel... have 3 starting points you chose upon making your character and it's Race Home Planet vs Other Races Home Planet style with other types of planets used for resources? Races being... Grayvyns, Dinos, Viking? Elk? Harpies? Dragons? Etc...

Would bring back the good ole Phobos feeling if it were PK and Stealing enabled lol. Giving good use to some skills like deception, stealth, locksmith, first aid, and good house building skills.


Off topic:
How are they lag attacking? chicken eggs? That's always popular -.-
Just item wipe chicken eggs and baby chickens and baby pigs or whatever every world save xD?

I love Mysti's art, and I know she wants her server to succeed. Sorry to say but my opinion is ' poor '.

There are constant inconsistencies between judgmental arguments about the rules that govern the server and those who are supposed to uphold them accordingly. Actions taken are not in correspondence to the rules but instead to the willingness and mood of the admins at the time. Break the rules, suffer the consequence. UPHOLD the consequence and apply the punishment deserved.

I don't have time to play rpgwo, but I probably wouldn't play this server for long if I did play. Sieges RUIN servers. It's been proven time and time again, yet they still get thrown in.

I turn my comp off every night when I go to bed. Regardless... i ran avg and set it to auto shutdown when finished last night. and now I'm able to attack >.> ... ... ... so its fixed.

Just found out i have the same problem on modern too. something's up with my files, but that can't be... cause I've done a full delete and uninstall/reinstall to a new location and everything. I logged off one night after seige, went to bed, woke up went to work... came home and logged on rpgwo and couldn't attack. nothing changed in between on my comp...

So.... after 2 days of trying everything I can think of to fix it. I'm trying here. The last time I was able to attack monsters was during the siege at 2:00 server time 2 nights ago. UT was on and said there would be no more auto sieges. Siege ended, took the warp out then warped home and logged off. When I logged back on the next day after work, I was unable to attack my clones that popped up.

I tried ALT+A
I tried clicking the A
I tried /suicide
I tried logging out and in
I even tried reinstalling rpgwo.

Alas, none of this  has worked to fix the problem. I cannot attack with any of my throwing weapons, the target appears but I do not attack. I tried to take the weapon off and attack, but that also does not work. Now, I am able to attack with Harm or Summon Sunburst. It seems spells are not affected by whatever has bugged me. If anyone knows, or has any insight as to what this is or how it can be fixed, please post. I'll see about uploading a video so it's clearly visible of what I mean.

 -- and perma-ban seems a little harsh, full muzzle would of done the trick just fine.

Identical time stamps indicate the messages were posted at the same time and void's was not a reply to mine. Also... perm ban is a bit harsh, but you had to push her eh? I think it's a lesson well learned on your behalf.

Hmm. Well, in itemuse, the usage for a pick to get ore while mining comes immediately before the usage for using a pick on medium granite rock to get smaller rocks.

Sounds like some usages might have gotten messed up somehow.

Here are the two usages we appear to be dealing with. Double check them.
You might have messed something up. If all else fails, redownload the server package and start with step one (the first thing you changed). Might be able to pinpoint the problem that way.

Kinda off topic but..
Do we know what underside.ini/waterside.ini does yet? Did anybody ever figure that out?


They are grouped together because they are usages for the 'pick'. It would be a pain to find them if one was in the middle of the .ini and the other was at the top or bottom. If you search for 'Itemtool=Pick' you'll only have to scroll a little ways to find it, rather than having to continuously repeat the search for the one you want.

Best ever >.> ... I'd give it to Tilur for most of Phobos's lifespan till he quit and then I'd give it to Stryder, Personman and Simmias for their hella crazy 1000 defs in the mid 40 levels... after Phobos turned into Shadow... Cham and Mantis, after that... I don't think anyone was able to stand up to their standards.

I still have the circled overlay problems with rpgwo... the ones where the /surface is on top of the tree and the waterfall is on top of the tree.. but the tree's should be infront.

it makes you log out and in... don't need a restart or anything. I didn't try using the task manager and exiting the explorer.exe and restarting that... That'd be a pain in the ass for people to do.

Start > Control Pannel > Display -- then there's options along the left side, the bottom one is for DPI.

Stupid Windows 7.... But...that's why rpgwo didn't changed along with the DPI settings >.> ... the images are imported as 32x32 so then only 32x32 is loaded and the actual game WINDOW utself was changed... but the map/play window can't. Unless mickey adds in something for dpi settings... >.>
