Have you tried reinstalling the client or setting the properties of the client to "Run As Administrator"?

yea tried about everything, in 1080p i get more of the screen but its still cut off part of the map and other stuff. i'm sure it wasnt designed with the old box monitors in mind since most monitors today are wider than they are tall. i'm not sure what the issue.
i would be playing it if it wasnt for this issue.

Yeah, the client is just too big for your screen. I had planned to shrink it a bit to fit a 1080hd screen but never got to it.

The main reason I stopped working on V6 was some data corruption issues on the server. Weird things were happening that had no explanation.
I am running the server on a laptop at my house now to see what happens. It was around the 3 month old mark that it went nuts so will see how it goes. Right now the world is about 1.5 months old.

It really pissed me off it was happening and I decided I needed a break. Had been working on V6 for a solid 2 years. Plus only a handful of veterans played and others complained it was too different, which it is but not?

I am going to go out on a limb and say you are probably playing on windows based upon your "windows user" badge.

I remember there was an issue where if you make your text bigger in windows it would cause that to happen on V2, I don't know if it is the same since this isn't vb6 anymore.

Try going into your settings on windows and changing back to just normal 100%(default size) if you are in windows 10 just slide the slider all the way to the left for text size.
