When you finally get your server all set up and ready to share with your friends...
I know of two programs when combined with the RPGWO server.exe will make it happen...
The first is to allow you to host the update URL locally
It is a single file, file host that will save you the bother of installing a Apache server, which would mess with all your windows settings to a degree...
http://www.rejetto.com/hfs/
The next is not necessary if you have a always on connection however if you ever disconnect...
It would be extremely wise to use this
no-ip.org
^ Its pretty much a DNS that will point any request towards its URLs(the ones you create) to your IP...
Most of you probably already knew of the second one but ya...
I think Ill add one more...
Its called
TightVNC (There are other VNC clients however this one hogs less bandwidth)
It will allow you and other admins to access the server.exe(and any other files) remotely
Anyhow I hope at least one of these is useful to someone

So how does this HFS work. I get the update files uploaded onto it. Then when I connect to my own specific IP and Port It will update the rpgwo files automatic?

In your rpgwo world .files folder that has your UPDATED DATS in it run pmastermaker to generate zlib files (or w/e they are called).
Takes those newly created files and store them in a folder like MyWorld.files.
Point HFS to that folder, and use the URL from HFS in your RPGWO auto-updater connect.ini to allow people to auto-update when they connect to your world. (im assuming you can mod connect.ini, and ppl connecting to your world must mod theirs also unless you're on the official list)
Be sure when you update your world to update your dats and remake them with pmastermaker and then throw them into the HFS folder.
Uhh hopefully that was clear, otherwise let me know if you have any questions.

Yes run HFS with the files in it 24/7. To find out which dat zlibs you should put in try looking at another worlds .files.
