Can we have skills like: Lute, flute, harp, etc. and they affect how good you are at playing that particular instrument?
In case you want to be a bard, you know.

Bard skills would be cool like discordance (debuff enemy) peacemaking (stops enemies attackin) and musicmanship (ability to play instruments)

Yea thats a cool idea, wander if a rogue could add it without it being hardcoded.
Heh, Id just sit in the center of town rocking out all alone

A bard is a rogue except without daggers, and poison.
Oh and I forgot to say provocation, best best spell known to bards. Causes conflict (monsters start attacking everything including each other) one of the best skills a bard could have.

Well we all know that silly...In D&D they're just a jack of all trades. They can use anything but really aren't specced in anything...kthxbiiii

same with most games, jack of all trades but a full party of bards is deadly

Well, with the help of Zodiak and my noob skills with 1.15 servers. I'm making a quick zombie infection world for some quick fun. Then i'm moving on to maybe having something a little cooler. Def might add the bard skills. I think that would be fun

Or call it Troubador.
Just for laughs.
The higher the skill the longer/better the tune you can play. And maybe a screen comes up so you can choose the notes/order for abit of creativity.
Or as listed above, give it a combat effect

Traubie = buffs Durge = debuffs
In EQ2 the illusionist and conjor were the major cc specalists. Psi in VG. Which is nothing to do with bards but I always thought since UO that bards shoud have a aoe charm spell to make up for their lack of being able to do anything good except have endless mana. I believe bards got some kind of mez and charm spell that charmed a monster to not attack which did kind of make up for them being wolf solo.
But for rpgwo it could be a skill called bard and it uses instruments with a magic or range damage on it. I think we already have instruments in the game drum, piano etc. Would be good to add tambarines, harps, chimes, horns, whatever else you can think of that can be played as a musical instrument. But it'll just be another attack which does the same thing except with different graphics so who knows how it would work. Could be a range attack which does magic damage or something. Would be interesting though.
