I was wondering, in case the newb world gets wiped, is it be possible to use steeltide map design in the new world?
Steeltide map was very nice and newb friendly, no long journeys between different places, no hard to find quests, playing steeltide was fun.
From what ive talked to other people in game, many agree in that steeltide map design was good and simple.

The conversation has gone on and on. Steeltide, Phobos, Liberty are all in the past, and not coming back. Unless they are that generous to bring them back.

Steeltide was about the players not the server. Yes the Layout and the Admins had a part in Steeltides success but it was mainly because of the community of ST

Lies, mickey is remaking Steeltide in July using rpgwo2.

If you say so jord, he is making a V2 world, but it wont be anything like steeltide was, it was the players not the items and quests that made it.

Most current players will get too damn childish without their level 4 boosts(where applicable), giga/ultra/mega pots and all their new easy quests to level insanely fast. Hardly anyone plays the same.
Sure it would be great, but the community that made Steeltide EPIC is gone. No Ursus vs Tikal. No " " assassinations. None of that ever again. It's gone. Just let it die.

It seems you never did your homework, so let me fill you in a bit
I'll start with 3 top guilds
PYR8
The Coalition (later nameless)
TDK
How can 2 of those guilds level legitly while 1 had their members perks acticated first... and extra perks for their members because of real money?
Because TDK couldn't take out the opposition of PYR8 and The Coalition they had to sink real low and get most PYR8 members banned

Then along came a wipe... and we had Silk and FlyByNight apparantly knowing where all Damon landed so their characters got them first etc, can't remember too well I lost the taste for that server so I went to another

Me and Chrono retired ST 2 quite early. Level 20 it was. I think it was then we went to Phobos.

I remember I had the wolftest character ever there and started out as a tradesman and then got an attack later on and my stats were very low for my level. Like training at anthropes til 50 lmao.
