What makes an arena map good?
« on: December 30, 2012, 10:26:22 pm »
Size, shape decoration and content wise?

Is it better if they are small(like 20x20)? I made a 40x40 with two floors but I that's better off for an LMS.

Should there be traps with buffs and debuffs?

standard pk arena needs a few obstacles1 to give range guys a chance to evade and hit while hiding...but small enough to catch people without running around for long periods of time

LMS should work the same way, but a little larger since there will usually be more people

in a LMS traps should exist, but not for buffs and debuffs, and not for damage...I'd like to see status effect traps2

1:walls with slits 3-5 tiles long, longer and it takes to long to get around, shorter and whats the point
2:freeze blind stuff like that...stuff that makes it more interesting will be awesome, maybe a tile that when you step on it rearranges some walls(like the old rat race triggers) or warp traps that warp you to a central area or a corner
why does Fox keep cancelling good shows?
